Windows ME
The following steps will walk you through setting up your Internet connection
on a Windows ME machine. If you experience problems or have any questions, please
do not hesitate to contact us.
Double click on My Computer
Double click on Control Panel
Double click on Dial-Up Networking
Double click on Make New Connection
- Enter MSWorldNet for the name of the computer your are dialing as seen below
- Click Next >
- Enter the telephone number as seen below.
(Stevens Point Area: 344-8656, Amherst Area: 592-6421).
- Click Next >
- Click Finish
- Right click on MSWorldNet (or Double Click) and Left click Connect
- Enter your User name: and Password: (Check the Save
Password box if you don't want to have to re-enter your password every time you connect
to the Internet)
- Click Connect
- You're Finished!!! Welcome to the Internet!
