Windows 98
The following steps will walk you through setting up your Internet connection
on a Windows 98 machine. If you experience problems or have any questions, please

Double click on My Computer
Double click on Dial-Up Networking
Double click on Make New Connection
- Enter MSWorldNet for the name of the computer your are dialing as seen below
- Click Next >
- Enter the telephone number as seen below.
(Stevens Point Area: 344-8656, Amherst Area: 592-6421).
- Click Finish
- Right click on MSworldNet (or Double Click) and Left click Connect
- Enter your User name: and Password: (Check the Save
Password box if you don't want to have to re-enter your password every time you connect
to the Internet)
- Click Connect
- You're Finished!!! Welcome to the Internet!
