E-mail Server Relay
(Store & Forward)
Want to run your own mail server? Does your Internet Service Provider block the standard
mail ports to prevent you from doing this? Do you have an unreliable internet connection?
We've got the answer for you...our E-mail Server Relay (Mail Store & Forward) service!
This service monitors your email server. If your mail server is not on-line, the Store & Forward
service will store your mail messages for you and when your server comes on-line it will
automatically send you all the stored messages. This service also performs
Port Relay/Forwarding so if any of your ports are inaccessible, we'll send your email
to an available port.
Included for free with this service is virus filtering and SPAM tagging. Mail servers at MSWorldNet
will scan for and stop virus from passing onto your server. (It is strongly recommended that clients
still install their own virus filtering software on their server as a "defense-in-depth" strategy).
As an added bonus, all messages are scanned for SPAM content. If messages are unquestionably SPAM,
we reject the message from the sender so we don't waste your bandwidth or resources processing unwanted content.
Content that is questionable (but most likely spam), we tag with specialized mail headers which
you can then use as a basis for your own SPAM filtering. Many of our customers rely solely upon
our SPAM filtering. It works that well!
