We offer local dialup access for Amherst, Amherst Junction, Arnott, Park Ridge, Plover,
Rosholt, Stevens Point and Whiting. We are your community connection!
Our systems host the latest 56 Kbps / V.90 modems to ensure compatibility with today's
fastest modems as well as yesterdays 14.4 Kbps, 28.8 Kbps & 33.3 Kbps modems.
Full connection speeds may not be reached due to line quality in your area or
line splicing / connections within your own home. Our lines have been fully tested
and qualified by our telephone carrier(s) for 56 Kbps access.

One of our major selling points that differentiates our service from our competitors is our FREE virus
and SPAM filtering for your email! The way it works is mail servers at MSWorldNet will scan for and stop
virus from passing into your email. (It is strongly recommended that clients still install their own virus
scanning software as a "defense-in-depth" strategy. This is NOT a replacement for normal antivirus protection).
Messages are also filtered for SPAM and any questionable content is moved into a seperate subfolder on
your mail account. Accessing your SPAM folder, to see if anything was misidentified, is as easy as logging
into our web based email. This makes it so that you don't have to
view or sort through all that unwanted content or waste your precious time downloading it. Most competitors
charge you extra for this service or leave it up to you...another example of a value added service for
MSWorldNet customers!
When you're shopping and comparing, make sure you read the fine print from our competitors. At MSWorldNet, we
refuse to hide things from our customers with fine print or disclaimers. We state everything up front
and put it on paper in black and white!
Don't be fooled by claims of "High Speed Dialup". Unless they are
referring to DSL (Digital Subscriber Line), there is no such thing. They claim "high-speed" by using "on-the-fly"
compression to reduce image quality or remove items from pages to help reduce the size of the page.
This greatly impacts your Internet browsing since you are NOT viewing or experiencing the web pages the way the author
intended. The speed increase is nothing more than an illusion...it will NOT improve your online games or other
non-web based communications...make sure you know what you are buying!
